How to Apply for the South Korea Digital Nomad Visa (Workation Visa F-1-D)?
Applying for the South Korean digital nomad visa is simple and hassle-free; unlike others, you cannot apply online. Apply to your country’s Korean embassy with the complete Visa Application Form.
To apply for the visa, you need to submit the following documents:
- Copy of Passport: Your passport needs to be valid for the visa terms when you submit your application.
- Earned more than 85 million won ($66,000) in last year. Visa requires you to earn double Korea’s gross national income (GNI) per capita for the previous year.
- Proof of Remote Work: Prove that you are earning through remote work. You have to provide bank statements, Payslips, or invoices to prove your required income.
- Personal medical insurance covering at least 100 million won for hospitalization and recovery during their stay in South Korea.
- A clear criminal history is verified through an official background check from your home country.
- Age must be 18 or older than 18 Years and have at least 1 year of experience in the same related field.
- Accommodation Confirmation: Provide a booking of a Hotel where you will be living in South Korea at the time of arrival.
- Health Check Certificate: You must have a health check report from a doctor/Physician stating you are medically fit.
